I know, I know. "2020 was a dumpster fire." I'm not disagreeing with you. There were any number of things in 2020 I could certainly do without. It was as if we experienced an entire lifetime worth of events crammed into one calendar year! However, there were a few precious pieces of 2020 that I will always hold close. Like many people around the world, when the pandemic hit full swing in March, I packed up the necessities from my office and set up shop at home. None of us had even the slightest clue that it would last so long. But, in between the news casts and figuring out where to set up a desk, there were spontaneous card games. I was able to see family on a whim. Dinner was on the table earlier. Life was certainly different. But also, in a few heartwarming ways.
