Hello, folks. Here we are—2019. A new year. The year William and I could possibly become parents! Foster, adoptive...we aren't quite sure yet. But this could be it! This could have been our last holiday season with just the two of us. How crazy is that? As we sat having Chinese food on New Year's Day (I really like to eat Chinese food on New Year's, it's a thing) we reflected on how much can change in a year, then two, then what about 18?
I can't tell you how many miles I've driven, loads of laundry I've done, or potstickers I've put away (there's been a lot) but there are of course moments, little milestone markers littered along our timelines defining who we are and who we are going to be. So in a reflective break from paint and paperwork, here are some dots in our map from just the 2000s that we came up with (not necessarily in any particular order):
